Deedee Wadsworth, RYT, TCTSY-F

Deedee is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance® and a Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F) specializing in the treatment of complex trauma and complex posttraumatic stress disorder in children, adolescents, and adults.

Deedee completed her Anusara Level 1 teacher training in 2009, and received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Kripalu in 2011. In April 2017, she became certified in the TCTSY methodology, recognized by The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) of the United States as an evidence-based treatment for complex, developmental trauma and chronic, treatment-resistant PTSD.  She has served as the Assistant to the Director of Yoga Services at the Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute in Brookline, Massachusetts since May 2017.

Deedee believes when the student is ready, the teacher appears. In her words, “Yoga prepared me for the often arduous journey of healing from the past, so I could (re)connect with my true self.” Deedee’s teachings impart strength, wisdom, and compassion, and her classes offer an opportunity for students to meet themselves as they truly are.

Deedee lives in Massachusetts with her fiancé, Kevin, and their dog, Pepper.
