First Annual Halloween Parade

Our first annual Halloween Parade brought out all sorts of creativity among some of the staff as we turned the main hallways at DBMS into “Spooky World” complete with skulls, jack-o-lanterns, crows, eerie sounds, flickering lights and lots of delicious treats. The windy night not only added a bit more spookiness, it also made our pirate flags out front fly beautifully.

The kids costumes ranged from Spider Man to Firemen and even a fairy princess or two. Chuck had the brilliant idea to put big trash bags on the windows and doors to make it dark and Jill Ross, volunteer extraordinaire, was a wonderful witch handing out all our treats. Thanks too to Miss Duxbury Bay (aka Georgia Cosgrove) for all her help and support.

We had a lot of fun doing this event and we look forward to doing it bigger and better next year so keep us in mind for what promises to be fun, fun, fun and spookier than ever!
