The Tin Shed Is Down and Construction Has Begun
Now you see it, now you don’t! Soon after the tall ship Friendship sailed out of Duxbury Bay and Opening of the Day festivities concluded, the DBMS tin boat shed came down in a hurry to make way for our new multi-purpose building. You can watch it come down in this YouTube video.
If you stop by Snug Harbor, you’ll see that Ford Construction is hard at work preparing the site. The pile drivers arrive later this week, and framing will begin as soon as the pilings are in place. It will be an exciting summer as we watch the long-awaited facility take shape.
Stay tuned this summer for the Building Connections Community Campaign to see how you can help us build debt free!
