High School Competitive Racing Teams - Novice Boys (Grades 9-12)

The High School Novice Racing Team is for high school rowers in their first year of racing. The teams practice four days per week after school on the water, on land, and in the erg room and will participate in weekend regattas. Rowers will train at a high level and compete against other New England Novice crews in racing fours and eights. Team selection, boat selection, and seat selection are coach determined. After school practice times, locations and pre-season details will be announced prior to the season. Please note, there are additional fees for regatta transportation and uniforms. Additional prerequisites: 1) Per US Rowing rules, if you competed as a Novice in Spring 2009 (or prior), you are required to try-out for Varsity (unless you are currently in 9th grade). 2) If your first Novice season was Fall 2009, you are still considered a Novice 3) Desire to be on a highly competitive high school team.
