Christine has always been passionate about helping others and naturally brings people together. Her passion for helping others led to a ten year career working in the non-profit sector. In her downtime, Christine practiced yoga as a way to stay fit and mentally grounded. Yoga gave Christine more confidence on and off her mat and she wanted to share that with others. After becoming certified in Yoga Sculpt at CorePower Yoga Studio in 2015 Christine began teaching yoga and fitness fulltime. Christine fell in love with teaching fitness classes and connecting with other women in her classes. In 2016 she became certified in Barre and POUND and completed her 200hr yoga teacher training with Open Doors Yoga Studio in 2018.
While pregnant with her first child, Christine began studying safe and effective prenatal and postnatal exercise. After giving birth she found it challenging to prioritize her self-care and knew she was not alone in this. Christine created Standish Strollers in the summer of 2019 as a way to exercise without childcare, get out of the house, and connect with other local mothers.
Her passion to help others and naturally bring people together continues to be at the core of what she does and her goal is to challenge her clients to dig deep within themselves and find the strength and passion that is within us all.
