Leslie is entering her fourth year coaching, and first with the high school age group. She recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with her masters in Sport Management, where she was the Graduate Assistant Women’s Rowing Coach. Leslie has also spent the past two summers in New London, CT with the USRowing Junior National High Performance camp as a resident assistant. She has her USRowing Level II coaching certification, and is an ACSM certified personal trainer.

Leslie completed her undergraduate education at Oregon State University, where she earned bachelors degrees in Exercise & Sport Science and Psychology, as well as a minor in writing. While a member of the OSU Women’s Rowing team, Leslie participated in SAAC for four years, received three Second Team All-Academic awards, and led various community service projects. She was also selected to be a captain in her senior season, and was granted the Suzanne Wilkins Inspirational Award. After exhausting her eligibility, she was an Undergraduate Women’s Rowing Coach at OSU, and head coach of the Corvallis Rowing Club, a local adult club. Leslie began rowing her sophomore year of high school at Sammamish Rowing Association.
