Ages: 14-16  Prerequisites: Powerboat handling course and sailing experience  Requirements: Competent Swimmer

This class is for students who hope to become Junior Instructors in the future. Topics covered will include leadership, teaching skills, communication, boating skills, safety and how to create and deliver a lesson plan.

Students need to have taken a powerboat handling course prior to the start of this class and have a NASBLA boater certification. Not everyone that takes this course is guaranteed to become a JI.
