Programs for Kids & Adults in Summer 2020

We are pleased to announce that DBMS is still able to serve it’s community this summer! Although we had to cancel most of our existing summer programs we will be running an array of new programming for kids and adults. The below programs are being offered while adhering to COVID-19 restrictions and regulations.

NOTICE: DBMS has created two new programs for Summer 2020: Duxbury Bay Adventures (ages 7-12) and Jr. Rowing in Singles (ages 11-17).

Kids Programs

Open to kids ages 7-12, the goal of this program is to get kids out on the Bay as much as possible! A weekly program with sailing, SUP, kayaking and Marine Science.

From middle school beginners through competitive college rowers, this program is for youth ages 11 and up. All rowers will use single rowing shells.

Junior Powerbaoting will still run this summer with modifications. Reach out to Director of Powerboating, Tuffer Dow with any inquiries: Tuffer@dbms.org

Adult Programs

Adults looking to explore Duxbury Bay in a single rowing shell can do so, no matter their experience! We have 8 recreational rowing shells that are stable enough for beginners.

Sailing rentals and lessons in our Marshall 15′ sailboats will be made available to the public this summer. Reach out to Adult Sailing Director, Jim Flynn with any inquiries: jim@dbms.org
