Rental | Checkout Sail
Ages: 18+ years old as of August 31, 2025
Prerequisites: Competent Swimmer
The ‘checkout’ sail provides an opportunity for the Renter to demonstrate to one of the DBMS crew their sailing skills on either a Marshall 15 "Sandpiper" or a Flying Scot.

Spring Laser Series| Laser Spring Series
Ages: 14+ years old as of August 31, 2025
Prerequisites: Ages: 14+, Competent Swimmer, Participants are responsible for sourcing their Laser.
We are excited to announce that DBMS will be hosting a Laser/ILCA spring series. The line will be run in conjunction with our Flying Scot Spring Series.

DBMS is proud to offer Marshall 15 rentals to experienced sailors. Renters must have had a ‘checkout sail’ in the past two seasons (2023 or 2024). If new to the DBMS rental program, please reach out to Bill at asail@dbms.org to schedule a ‘checkout sail’.
