A dynamic step toward independence, this class encourages teamwork and camaraderie as sailors refine their skills in groups. With peers at the helm, participants gain hands-on experience while exploring Duxbury Bay in a more self-directed format.

Spring Opti/420 Race Days are the perfect tune-up for the summer season! Held on Saturdays, these sessions focus on sharpening boat handling, race tactics, and confidence through practice races and drills.

Our program for 7th and 8th grade students, sailing as both Skipper and Crew in the 420, a collaborative two-person boat, students learn essential skills like sail trim, body positioning, and teamwork. This hands-on experience helps them develop a strong foundation for success in high school racing and beyond. By mastering these foundational skills and understanding the importance of teamwork and communication on the water, students are prepared to excel in more advanced racing levels and build a lifelong passion for sailing.
