Prerequisites: We warmly welcome beginners and encourage anyone new to the water or the sport to come aboard and join the adventure!
Embark on a 1.5-hour sailing adventure aboard our Marshall 22' Catboat, designed for accessibility, comfort, and education. Featuring wheelchair access, a Hoyer lift, and 5-point harness seats offering trunk support, participants of all abilities can safely enjoy the thrill of sailing on the open water.

It's nearly time to get on the water! Join our Unified Rowing Team! This indoor session of the Spring will be "pre-season" for our first on-the-water Unified Rowing Team. This program provides an inclusive and supportive environment for high school aged youth with varying abilities to learn to row indoors. Students must be able to maintain core stability in a seated position and move independently on a rowing machine.

It's time to get on the water! We are ready to take the skills we've been honing all winter to Duxbury Bay. Join our Unified Rowing Team! This program provides an inclusive and supportive environment for high school aged youth with varying abilities to learn to row on the water. Classes will involve learning to enter and exit a rowing shell safely, and apply our knowledge to rowing in outdoor conditions. Students must be able to maintain core stability in a seated position and move independently within a rowing shell.

Rowing | Adult | Recovery Row | On Water

Prerequisites: None
Get out on the bay and reconnect with yourself through the calming rhythm of the water. This class combines kayaking, rowing, and indoor rowing instruction to help you channel the energy of the bay while developing a new skill. Whether you’re seeking mindfulness, movement, or a supportive community, this class offers a refreshing way to build strength, focus, and resilience; stroke by stroke.

Prerequisites: None
This program provides a supportive environment for individuals ages 15+ with disabilities to learn to row on the water. Classes will involve team-building, stretching, learning the basics of rowing on an erg machine, and progressing to utilizing our indoor rowing tanks, and in stable boats on the water. Students must be able to maintain core stability in a seated position and move independently on a rowing machine. This course is intended to be a continuation of our adaptive paddlesports community, but is open to new participants as well. Past participants of adaptive paddlesports have had developmental disabilities, TBIs, Down Syndrome, limb differences, Autism, and mobility challenges. Supportive erg seats and hand supports are available.

Prerequisites: Active or Former U.S. Service Members., No Experience Needed
Are you a veteran with rowing experience, or interested in returning to the sport in a supportive, accessible setting? Join us this spring for an indoor rowing session designed to build confidence, improve technique, and foster connection; no on-water participation required.

Prerequisites: Active or Former U.S. Service Members., Must have completed one session of indoor rowing prior.
Join us this spring on Duxbury Bay for on-water training (weather permitting) in Hudson Quad rowing shells and coastal rowing doubles. You'll receive instruction in rowing technique, boat handling, safety, and teamwork. By the end, you'll have a solid foundation in rowing and be ready to continue, whether recreationally or competitively.
