Beginner Intermediate Competitive Fitness
Adult Learn to Row
Ages: 18 – years old as of August 31, 2026
Prerequisites: None
Come explore, meet new people and try something new. This class is offered to those who would like to learn a new sport and ultimately explore Duxbury Bay in a team boat. In our Rowing Center, with access to our state of the art equipment, you will learn the basics of good rowing form and blade technique with the use of the ergometer and rowing tanks. Next spring you will move to the docks and learn about launching and applying your skills to rowing on the bay. You will not be disappointed!

This one hour private lesson takes advantage of our state of the art Rowing Center and/or our on the water equipment. One-on-one coaching is tailored to the individual’s skill level, goals, and physical condition. The coach will focus on technique, form, and efficiency, offering personalized feedback to help you improve. Private rowing lessons are ideal for those who want to improve their technique, build confidence, or prepare for a competition. The one-on-one attention allows for detailed, focused improvement tailored to individual needs.

Indoor Rowing | Training and Technique
Ages: 18 – years old as of August 31, 2026
Prerequisites: Learn to Row Class, Private Lesson Learn to Row
Come join us to get your blood pumping and large muscles working to enhance your cardio endurance for your everyday activities! This class is an hour long with a workout focusing on key muscles that we use in rowing through strength training, cardio on the rowing machine combined with a tank session in the state-of-the-art Rowing Center. Each participant focuses on technical development through a progression of drills and steady state rowing. The opportunity to be filmed and projected on the large screen (while you row) is an incredible teaching tool for our coaches and a comprehensive learning tool for our participants. These classes are ideal for athletes of all ages from novice to experienced, to explore and expand on your technical proficiency in a safe and controlled environment.

Prerequisites: Learn to Row, Novice, Experienced Quad, Comp Team Experience
This class is designed for experienced rowers seeking a high-level winter training opportunity in preparation for the spring, summer, and fall racing seasons. Each 1.5-hour session combines aerobic and anaerobic ergometer work with a tank session focused on technical skills and drills. Strength training elements will also be incorporated to support a well-rounded racing program.

Beginner Intermediate Competitive Fitness
Strength & Conditioning | Level 1
Ages: 18 – years old as of August 31, 2026
Prerequisites: None
Build a solid foundation of strength and improve your fitness. This full body resistance training program is designed to give you a solid base of strength in a group class and will include a dynamic warm up and lots of form guidance. Gains include better health, improved bone density and sleep, mental well being, and sports performance! It’s a great addition to round out your training plan.
Strength & Conditioning | Level 2
Ages: 18 – years old as of August 31, 2026
Prerequisites: Strength and Conditioning Level 1 Class
This class builds on previous Strength and Conditioning class work. We welcome repeat participants or anyone with 2-6 months of previous lifting experience. This full body resistance training program is designed to give you a solid base of strength in a group class and will include a dynamic warm up and lots of form guidance. Gains include better health, improved bone density and sleep, mental well being, and sports performance! It’s a great addition to round out your training plan.

Row/Cycle Core Conditioning

Prerequisites: None
Start your day on the right foot with High Intensity Interval Training twice a week! This energizing 1-hour workout is designed to challenge and motivate participants of all levels. Each class includes a dynamic warm-up and cool-down, targeted strength training and cardio segments on the erg or bike. Everyone works at their own pace within a timed interval—and everyone finishes together—so you’ll never feel left behind. Great music and fun challenges will set the tone for an invigorating start to your day. Join us!

Subscription pass that renews monthly unless canceled by the participant. To start immediately, register for the session and the price will be pro-rated for the first month. To choose a start date in a later month, choose Drop-in and pick your start date from the calendar. Please call the office to cancel your membership. We will provide a key card for entry to the building.
