Prerequisites: 7th and 8th grade athletes with 2 prior courses completed.
This program is for experienced Middle School students who have completed at least two seasons on the water and want to improve their fitness over the winter. As space is limited, priority will be given to older middle school students (grades 7 and 8) who would like to explore their competitive side and who are considering rowing in High School. This one-hour class will include technical work in the tanks, conditioning on the ergs, calisthenics, and stretching for injury prevention. Transportation to practice is provided by DBMS vans leaving at 3 PM from the student parking lot on the east side of St. George Street in Duxbury.
