6th, 7th, and 8th grade Winter Rowing

We are excited to offer a new program for our Middle School aged rowers. The program will include instruction on rowing technique using rowing machines and our indoor tanks. Classes are offered two days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
PLEASE NOTE: Our calendar year ends on Oct 31 and registration opens before this date. Credit cards will NOT be charged on Nov 1 even though you must enter it to secure your child’s seat.

6th, 7th, and 8th grade Spring Rowing

Session 1: 4/24/23-5/18/23 

Session 2: 5/22/23-6/15/23

NOVICE QUAD 4:30-5:45 M/W or T/TH

AGES 11+

This class will introduce the basic rowing fundamentals of sculling using a variety of tools including rowing tanks, Concept 2 ergometers and large stable Quadruple sculling shells. Students will learn and practice the technique of the rowing strokes then learn skills to manage the boat on the dock and in the bay safely. Students will be taking turns rowing and steering (coxing) once on the water. No previous experience required. Students who have had indoor rowing or limited on the water rowing experience are also encouraged to sign up for this class.

EXPERIENCED QUAD 3:15-4:30 M/W or T/TH

AGES 11+

This class is open to all rowers with previous experience in sculling (intermediate and experienced class) and will help rowers continue to develop proficiency in technique, and introduce and develop the skills required to row as a crew in a team boat. Students will take turns rowing and steering the larger, stable Quadruple sculling boats. Previous rowing experience required in intermediate singles and/or team boats.

7th and 8th grade Fall Rowing

NOVICE QUAD, M/W or Tu/Th 4:30-5:45PM (9/6 to 10/27)

7TH & 8TH GRADE
