Amanda Doolin grew up in Duxbury and rowed at DBMS for 3 seasons on the team before getting recruited to UMass Amherst. She had four years of D1 rowing there in the V8+, V4+, 1x, 2x, 4x. She received two A-10 Conference 2nd All Team Awards before graduating with a degree in public health in 2012. During her summers at UMass she coached at DBMS, Northampton, and raced for All-American Rowing Camp in the 1x and 2x. After graduating she was an assistant coach at UMass Amherst for a year before moving back to Duxbury to assist in coaching the varsity boys. Amanda also works with the boys novice and the 8th grade program.
