Originally from Duxbury, Haley now lives in Boston where she completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training through the Boston Yoga School. Through the guidance and support of teachers Ame Wren, Ben Chused, and Monica Trobagis, Haley was able to deepen her understanding of a practice that she has found very influential in her life. Like many yogis, Haley was first attracted to yoga for the physical benefits, but has come to learn the profound effects it has on the mind. Ever the student, Haley continues to practice and learn from the inspiring teachers at North End Yoga.

Haley’s classes are rooted in an alignment-based approach, with a focus on linking breath to movement in order to unite the body with the mind. She subscribes to the quote by Bernie Clarke:
“We do not use the body to get into a pose – we use the pose to get into our body.”

Haley teaches first grade in Newton. She holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and a master’s in elementary education. She enjoys spending time in Duxbury during her summer vacation, and you can often find her running on the beach with her dog, Sally.

Haley feels lucky to bring yoga to the Duxbury community, and looks forward to welcoming you to her class!
