Jr. Sailing Volunteer
Interested in volunteering for Jr. Sailing?
Our volunteer program is a week long shadow program. During this week the volunteer will shadow a head instructor. Participants will gain a better understanding of how the junior sailing department runs and will gain experience in areas such as class management, working with different age groups, safe practices on and off the water, and help us accomplish our goal of connecting individuals with Duxbury Bay. The volunteer will also help with the Junior Instructor duties such as drop off, pick up, and making sure our equipment is ready for a successful day on the water. This is a great experience for a sailor interested in becoming an instructor in the future.
Age requirement: 15 y/o
Class runs week 2-9
